Now we’re looking for a few self-motivated, engaging, and highly collaborative sales individuals to help spread the word about our network of video channels,build strong client relationships and drive revenues. While working in the advertising industry’s fastest growing sector, you’ll help shape the face of one of the Web’s coolest new companies.
Account Executives make up BroadbandTV’s sales team and act as the face of the company to the advertising community. Through in-person meetings with advertisers and their agencies, AEs initiate, negotiate, and manage deals that drive revenue for BroadbandTV. Accountable by nature, they also have outstanding verbal and written communication skills, a drive to exceed established goals, and an ability to work closely with internal teams to get things done. We are looking for experienced sales individuals with established client relationships and drive to forge new ones, so that we can increase awareness about BroadbandTV within the advertising, media, and marketing community.
How you will contribute:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key agencies and clients in the entertainment, consumer electronics, telecom, CPG, auto, and other relevant categories
• Define territory strategy to ensure sustainable growth and client development
• Support BroadbandTV’s growth by driving revenue for an assigned territory
• Help shape a customer-centric sales organization that embodies candor and integrity
• Average volume of face-to-face meetings that develop a strong sales presence and drive business in an assigned territory
• Increase awareness about BroadbandTV within the advertising, media, and marketing community by evangelizing theefficacy of our platform and capabilities
• Regular account updates and revenue forecasting to management
• Negotiate deals with the client/agency community that embody a win-win framework
• Collaborate with BroadbandTV’s InsideSales and Content Distribution/Management teams to set sales strategy and build customer-centric advertising programs
Requirements:
• Client-focused approach, with good judgment about ad programs that will engage users
• Understanding of technical requirements and opportunities within web media
• Extensive network within the agency,brand, and sales community
• Steeped in pop culture and digitalmedia used by our users and clients
• Flexibility, patience, and a roll-up-your-sleeves work ethic
• Strong ethical standards
• Bachelor’s degree (graduate degree a plus)
• 3-5 years demonstrated sales success(online consumer media sales preferred)
• Limited travel
